The Co-management tab

The Co-management tab appears on the accessory tabs of the Organization Your Autotask instance may be configured to use one of the following terms instead: Account, Business Unit, Client Company, Customer, Site. page of organizations that have co-management enabled. On this tab, you can disable co-management for the organization, and view and edit the co-managing users and teams assigned to the organization.

NOTE  This tab is not visible to co-managing users.

To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.

The button bar contains the following options:

Edit

Click this button to put the co-management tab into Edit mode. You can do the following:

  • add or edit the Primary Co-managing User. All users who have a co-managed security level are available.

  • manage additional Co-managing Users. You can add up to 100 co-managing users.

  • Co-managing Teams. You can add up to 100 co-managing teams.

All these resources will also be on the account team of the organization, and will have the same permissions as the account manager.

Disable Co-management

Click this button to disable the co-management feature for the organization. All co-managing resources and teams will be disassociated from the organization. Any tickets that were assigned to a co-managed user will become unassigned.

However, if a co-managing user is the account manager, he or she cannot be deactivated. You must assign a different account manager before you are able to proceed.
