- To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.
- In the List View, click Submit. A dialog box will open with a message that has been customized by your Autotask Administrator (for more information, refer to Submission confirmation message).
NOTE If working from a timesheets widget table of unsubmitted timesheets, selecting Submit immediately submits your timesheet. If you want to review the timesheet before submitting, select View Timesheet from the menu.
- When you click OK, the timesheet will be submitted and locked so that your timesheet approver can review the final version. An email is automatically sent to the timesheet approver.
- You will receive an email notification when your timesheet is either approved or rejected. If your timesheet is rejected, the reason will be stated, and the timesheet will become available for editing. Make the required changes, and re-submit your timesheet.
NOTE If a timesheet is rejected and re-submitted, it must be approved at all approval levels.
NOTE Timesheets that have not yet been approved can be recalled or un-submitted by the user. If you need to edit a timesheet that has been approved, ask your timesheet approver to reject the timesheet, so it becomes available for editing.
